Assistance During Coronavirus Crisis

Assistance During Coronavirus Crisis

Need help with shopping and other issues during the coming months ?

During the current crisis the Rothley Good Neighbours Scheme & The Food Bank are offering help with shopping for those residents who may not have family nearby or neighbours to assist in collecting shopping.

Rothley Good Neighbours have a band of volunteers who aim to help those in our community who may wish for some assistance, which may include the elderly, disabled, single parents or those temporarily in need due to illness, injury or bereavement. At present the scheme's main tasks include transport to medical appointments but they expect a much higher demand for help with shopping and the collecting of prescriptions.

Help can be requested via the scheme's phone 0756 1596 873

The Food Project can be contacted about the provision of food.
